I am an experienced child care provider with a background in early childhood education. I am working full-time as a infant nanny. Prior to my current role, I held several assistant teacher positions In area preschools and have been responsible for infants as well as older children. My responsibilities included classroom teaching as well as play and meal activities. I also have first aid certification and lifeguard experience. I am available for home care of infants and older children.

I graduated from Villanova University in May 2018 with a degree in Nursing and Spanish Language & Literature. I previously worked in the hospital for 6 years full time night shift as a registered nurse, first on an orthopedic/surgical unit and second on a mother/baby unit. I recently began working dayshift full time in an endocrinologist office Monday through Friday. I cannot commit to any full time babysitting jobs, so I am currently looking for jobs on an as needed basis (weekends, date nights, night nurse). I started out as a mother's helper early in middle school and began babysitting in eighth grade (2009). I continued babysitting until roughly 2020 when most parents were working from home and I was working on a Covid unit in the hospital so it was best that I self isolate for others’ safety. This amounts to over 10 years of babysitting experience. I also have roughly 3.5 years experience working with newborns through my job in the nursery and on the post partum unit. I have babysat for multiple families over the years, and most families I kept up with for several years. I've worked with children ranging from 6 months to teenagers in high school. I have also undergone child abuse checks, background checks, and CPR certification through my job and can provide proof or undergo testing again if necessary. I am also up to date on all vaccinations. I also am proficient in Spanish. I have my own car for transportation and I have experience transporting children as needed. When I was 12 years old I started helping my aunt with my little cousins and from there my experience with children grew. In high school I organized birthday parties for small children at a sports center. From there I worked at a day care teaching children ranging in age from infancy to school age, responsible for four to 10 children at a time.
