I always knew I wanted to be a social worker because I have a passion for helping people and particularly love working with children and families! In my nearly 23 years as a social worker I have worked for the Department of Mental Health, Boston Medical Center as a manager of the Urgent Care Clinic, intensive in-home therapy, clinician, crisis, counseling, evaluations, and outpatient . I am a mom myself with two grown children. I loved every minute of raising my own children, so that is why I am looking to add some more hours to my schedule caring for other children. I have worked in a school system in Special Education for 19years as a Behavior Coach with children between K though 6th grade. Also summers for the past 9 years I’ve taught Preschool along with switching my career as a full time Preschool Teacher for the past 4 years. Wonderful career!
