I have started with infants of 3 months all the way up to Tweens. I am not a sitter who will play on their smart phone in the oresence of your child... actually I find that behavior rude when it is done to me and to be honest my job is to engage and interact with your child so we bring out the best in each other. That is the very least I can do for your child and it is my job! So please don't worry about that. Also if I am driving your child anywhere I will keep your child's safety as my number one priority and I drive cautiously and if course defensively looking out for any distracted drivers that might exist.
