I just moved to Florida from New York where practiced as an Occupational Therapy Assistant in a preschool for 12 years. I’m experienced in using play to help strengthen both functional and cognitive skills. I also ran a sensory program at a bounce gym for kids 4-14yrs old with sensory processing delays. I’m a mom and Aunt to 10 nieces and nephews (5-20yrs old) so I’ve had experience with kids outside of work as well. From feeding, changing diapers, potty training, nap time, to educational/functional play. People say I’m like a big kid but that’s because I’m the only adult climbing the monkey bars and going down the slides. I’m looking for occasional/one day work while I study for the board exam.
