Hi. I have been babysitting for over 20 years. I began sitting when I was 13 and have been doing so ever since, when available. My friends always call me first when they need child care. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with kids and would do that 24 hours a day if I could. I love engaging in educational activities with children such as reading, writing, museums, etc. I think children are like sponges; absorbing all the information around them & therefore it becomes important to surround them with information so that they may grow up with a foundation on which to build.

I am a full-time nanny M-F and am looking to do some date night sitting on occasional Fridays and Saturdays for families in Englewood or Venice. I have been caring for children, mainly newborns, infants and toddlers for over 20 years, as a babysitter on nights or weekends, as a care giver in a Church nursery, a nanny during the work week or as a lead teacher in a preschool for 3 years in the infant and toddler rooms. I have been a nanny full-time since 2014. I am a Credentialed Nanny through the International Nanny Association. I earned a Certificate in Infant/Toddler Development, a 2 year program at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC, as well as having 2 BAs outside of childcare. I am an active, creative and nurturing nanny and sitter. I incorporate lots of reading, crafts, music, outdoor walks, trips to the library, parks, the aquarium, and play dates with other children and nannies when possible. I also use baby sign language until children can speak and express themselves and limit screen time for children depending on their ages. I am First Aid/AED/CPR certified for infants through adults. I have my Flu vaccination, Covid vaccine and TDAP vaccination to work with infants. I am comfortable working with pets in the home. I look forward to speaking with you. Thank you. Sincerely, Jen

Being raised as an oldest daughter, I’ve always loved taking care of those around me. Being able to see the smiles on children’s faces when working with them, and creating a relationship with them is one of the most rewarding parts of the job. I have over 6 years experience working with kids with special needs, as well as working in home with children of all ages and abilities. I look forward to hearing from you!

Hello there! My name is Tyler, and I am excited to serve you and your family! I am a senior year at University of South Florida studying Health Sciences and I am a Certified Breastfeeding Specialist. I have experience working with children in multiple areas. For the past year and a half I've had the honor to support a family with their little boy from 3 months to almost 2 yrs old. I've used my swim instructor background to teach water safety and the foundation of learning to swim with confidence. We also learned over 30 sign language signs together to support his active participation in communication as well as introduced familiarity toward Spanish conversation. In collaboration with their family, I was able to provide a consistency in values and expectations throughout every stage to best support the family they wanted to build. Before nannying for this family, I was a lifeguard for 3 years, where I also taught swim lessons to children ages newborn to 15+ years old. I have practice enforcing discipline in a respectful way and keeping children engaged while learning. Additionally, I have babysat for families with kids between infant and 10 years old. I love being outside with children and encouraging their curiosities. I love providing a safe space for children to explore and test their curiosities without intrusive inturuptions. Getting active and playful is also so much fun because I find this is when those big belly laughs come out! About me personally, my biggest dream is to build a large and lively family with my fiancé someday with our parents there to enjoy. I want to support my community as a lactation consultant, and I dream of working with my local church at the time to donate my services to those who could not afford it otherwise. I love reading, swimming, furry friends, practicing my Spanish, spending time with loved ones, and being in nature. Throughout all of this, I am continuously deepening my faith in God and surrendering my life to His will.

Tyler is the epitome of a nanny. She cared for my first child starting at 3 months old. As a new / first time mom, it was hard for me to return to work, but Tyler helped tremendously. She did every nap, every bottle, she’d stay late to give me time to breathe. As my son got older she cooked with him, took him on picnics, went swimming, explored the library, and did skillful play. She helped me raise my first while I was in the trenches. She is different than any other nanny I’ve met. She truly loves children and motherhood. She became a quick part of our family and I hated saying goodbye. You’ve hit the jackpot with this one!

Hello! Thank you for taking the time to get to know me! I am an experienced childcare provider. I started my career as a babysitter and preschool teacher ages 1-3. In 2023 I started working in the behavior field specializing in working with children diagnosed with autism. I also have experience with ADHD, OCD, Speech delays, AAC devices, PECS (picture exchange communication system) and crisis management (PCM). In the evenings and weekends, I have been a nanny to a child with autism for over two years. Sadly, the family is moving but I hope to meet and help more families in my community! My favorite activity to do with the kiddos I work with is sensory activities! Of course I love everything from swimming, going to your local playground, crafts and anything else that makes our time together special and fun! I am looking for weekend hours with after school care. I’m primarily in the Venice area and south sarasota area. 🫶Religion friendly (I respect all religions) 🏳️🌈LGBTQ + (all families deserve respect and quality care) 🧩 Autism families (I am here to support, care and love your kiddo exactly as they are!) 🤍Disability advocate

My favorite part of being a nanny has always been becoming that big friend who comes over to play. My goal is to fit naturally into your family's life. I genuinely love being around little kids, getting into their world, using our imaginations, making up games, doing crafts and letting them be silly and completely themselves. I was a full-time nanny for two families from 3 months into the toddler years. Both families had multiple little ones, so I'm very comfortable caring for an infant and toddler at the same time. I'm incredibly patient, silly, high energy, and very hands-on. I love crafts, baking, trips to the park or library, little outings and finding ways to actually play together. I'm also very comfortable in screen-free homes and would much rather be on the floor playing anyway. I'm comfortable driving with kids, running errands, cooking and meal prep, laundry, and light housekeeping. Very familar with following strict routines and structure parents already have in place.
