Hi. I have been babysitting for over 20 years. I began sitting when I was 13 and have been doing so ever since, when available. My friends always call me first when they need child care. I thoroughly enjoy spending time with kids and would do that 24 hours a day if I could. I love engaging in educational activities with children such as reading, writing, museums, etc. I think children are like sponges; absorbing all the information around them & therefore it becomes important to surround them with information so that they may grow up with a foundation on which to build.

I am a full-time nanny M-F and am looking to do some date night sitting on occasional Fridays and Saturdays for families in Englewood or Venice. I have been caring for children, mainly newborns, infants and toddlers for over 20 years, as a babysitter on nights or weekends, as a care giver in a Church nursery, a nanny during the work week or as a lead teacher in a preschool for 3 years in the infant and toddler rooms. I have been a nanny full-time since 2014. I am a Credentialed Nanny through the International Nanny Association. I earned a Certificate in Infant/Toddler Development, a 2 year program at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC, as well as having 2 BAs outside of childcare. I am an active, creative and nurturing nanny and sitter. I incorporate lots of reading, crafts, music, outdoor walks, trips to the library, parks, the aquarium, and play dates with other children and nannies when possible. I also use baby sign language until children can speak and express themselves and limit screen time for children depending on their ages. I am First Aid/AED/CPR certified for infants through adults.
