I have been taking care of kids since I was a kid myself. I was actually an only child and always wanted a little sibling to care for lol but nonetheless, my mom had friends with younger kids and would offer to babysit which turned in to me babysitting them. In high school, I would babysit but it was not paid which is why I can’t claim any years paid. It was all volunteered as I would help babysit foster children. I helped watch children as young as an infant (1 week old at the time) to 13 years old. I also participated in a teaching scholarship program in undergrad that was an enriching experience as well as volunteered in elementary classrooms and worked as a substitute teacher prior to moving. Taking care of children is a huge passion of mine, and I hope to work with this population after becoming a Licensed MFT. I am currently attending UF’s MFT (Marriage and Family Therapy) program so my availability depends on my class schedule. I was also CPR and First Aid certified for 6 years (I have renewed it twice) and just lost my certifications as they expired two weeks ago! I will be renewing them shortly :)

You're probably thinking... "why should I trust her with my kids"? Well, let me give you a couple of reasons. I've been watching over and taking care of kids since I was 9 ( it wasn't voluntary ( my nieces and nephews) ). I've led sabbath school for the little ones (ages 2-7) for almost 3 yrs ( till I had to move for college) . I've picked up a few tips and tricks along the way to make both the kids and I happy. I love working and teaching the kids because, they are our future and they will change the world. Most of all, I love having a deeper connection with the kids where they feel safe and can be themselves.
