My experience with babysitting stretches over 12 years. I worked 6 consecutive years as a nanny for a family whose children I cared for from the newborn stages to ages 6, 3, and 1. I cherish the bond I created with this family and their beautiful kiddos, but I left this position due to relocation. The children I cared for were always very busy, so I have developed attentiveness and patience for tiny humans. I enjoy babysitting and have recently moved, so I am looking for jobs here and there for extra cash flow. I work M-F until 4 PM, so I am unavailable for long-term positions. I can work weekday evenings and be available on weekends with advance notice.

I first started babysitting when I was 10, so eight years ago. My first child was a four month old girl. In that same time frame I remember babysitting for someone who had three children of the ages seven(girl), two(boy), and six months (boy). I do not have any actual training or certifications, but I have a mom who worked at a daycare and people involved with first responders so I have been taught CPR, first aid, Heimlich, fire safety and put out, and what to do if someone is drowning.
