Hey, parents! My name is Georgia, and I am a social worker and former career nanny. I worked as a nanny for years and have miss it deeply since starting my second career. I have extensive experience with newborns and toddlers, but I made an unexpected jump to elementary-aged kiddos in my last nanny job - and LOVED it! As a clinician, I have worked with children from infancy to teenage years and even had a former position that focused on infant mental health for babies in foster care. I am from Nashville and just moved to South Florida in mid-April. I recently started a private practice, so I am searching for some occasional babysitting to supplement this season of life! I am available to start immediately and anticipate having pretty open availability through the summer. I can handle lots of kids, kids with lots of needs, and everything in between - truly nothing overwhelms me, which is probably not surprising given my field! I’m well-versed in child development and parenting, and am exceptionally organized, patient, and reliable. I’m happy to drive kids to and from school, activities, appointments (including the ones that occasionally pop up during the day), etc. I’m great at providing kids with the structure and routine they need, but definitely know how to have fun too!
