I am a full-time nanny M-F and am looking to do some date night sitting on occasional Fridays and Saturdays for families in Englewood or Venice. I have been caring for children, mainly newborns, infants and toddlers for over 20 years, as a babysitter on nights or weekends, as a care giver in a Church nursery, a nanny during the work week or as a lead teacher in a preschool for 3 years in the infant and toddler rooms. I earned a Certificate in Infant/Toddler Development, a 2 year program at Trident Technical College in Charleston, SC, as well as having 2 BAs outside of childcare. I incorporate lots of reading, crafts, music, outdoor walks, trips to the library, parks, the aquarium, and play dates with other children and nannies when possible. I also use baby sign language until children can speak and express themselves and limit screen time for children depending on their ages. I am First Aid/AED/CPR certified for infants through adults.
