Hello everyone. My name is Angela. I have been a member of sitter city for over 15 years now. I have met some wonderful parents and children from this website. This website has really done alot for me. I am happy to have it around. It is a great way to meet new families in the area and help out families as well as fellow sitters. I have been babysitting for over 25 years, been in childcare for 8 years and a nanny for 15 years. Altogether it makes it 25+ years. I am 41 years old. Babysitting and working in childcare is something that I really enjoy doing as well as being a nanny. I enjoy working with kids of all ages and families of all sizes, but I am partial to infants and toddlers. I am a Christian and I am a non-smoker and non-drinker. I like watching movies, bowling, hanging out with my close friends, being around my pets, and having fun playing games. I have 2 dogs and that I love to be around and hang out with. Also I have fostered dogs and I did pet sitting on the side. I went to Louisiana College for 3 1/2 years in Early Childhood education. I felt that God was pulling me in a different direction and here I am in Daytona recently moved from Dallas area. I moved to Daytona Beach in March of 2022 and I’m loving it. I grew up in Baton Rouge, LA. I hope to one day get a degree in Early Child Development, which is infant- Pre-K. I have been CPR and first aid certified. I am up to date on Flu and DTaP. I love pets so that is not a problem. Driving to another city is not a problem either. I hope that I am a great match for you and your family and that you will consider me to work for you. I am currently looking for a flexible part-time and/or date night/weekend position in either Volusia or Flagler county. I am working with a family of an infant 3.5 days a week. I know my schedule through the end of the year. I hope that you find the perfect person that fits your needs (me.) 😊 Everyone have a great day.

I am a 28 year old who has been living in Daytona for the past two years. I worked at a day care for my first year of child care. I was with one-five year olds. That is where I would meet families who wanted someone to watch their kids for date night and then two nights on the weekend and then that became me turning into their nanny of five months. I started early in the year throughout the summer, It was one of the best experiences I had ever had. I dont sit for the family anymore but I loved doing it and I am very good with kids. I have worked at an elementary and middle school as a tutor and translator. I have been a live in nanny for a single mother with two wonderful kids. In my time in Colorado I have cared for a nine month old girl and still watch her occasionally. My last family I watched was an amazing girl from five months until she turned one. The family is moving back home which led me to being in Daytona but we spent a great year together. From playing indoors and out, learning music, the alphabet, shapes, and activities for every stage. I do housework, cooking, cleaning. I love outdoor play and walks also learning and mindful activities indoors.

Hello! My name is Vanessa Gualberto and my family and I have been living in Ormond Beach for about a year now due to my husband being transferred from his job, and of course we have always loved Florida! I’m a mom of a two beautiful daughters age 11 and 21 years old. My eldest daughter attends James Madison University in Harrisonburg, VA and my youngest daughter is a 5th grader at Tomoka Elementary School in Ormond Beach. My husband and I are originally from Brazil and we’ve been living in Roanoke, VA for 27 years. I graduated in Brazil with credentials in early childhood development and I worked in Virginia for 3 years at a local private daycare. Not to mention I’m also CPR + First Aid certified! I most recently had my own cleaning business in addition to always doing babysitting jobs on the side. Our family also fostered children for 2 years before we moved to Florida. I currently stay home, but I’m looking for something to do while my daughter is at school. I also can extend my hours working for you, but it is something we can work out during the interview since my daughter does dance and horse lessons. That being said, I’m excited to bring my passion and positive attitude to families in Florida, and am ready to create a fun, supportive environment while gaining valuable experience in supporting your family’s needs. Furthermore, your children’s safety is my first priority, so I will make sure they are safe and sound while they are under my care. My rates are based on the specific tasks and responsibilities you need help with — things like bedtime routines, meals, light cleaning, child/children laundry or additional children may affect pricing. I value mutual respect and a positive atmosphere. For children ages 5 and up, I kindly ask that they are able to listen and show respect. If that’s not the case, I may not be the right fit — I want to make sure everyone has a good experience. I look forward to working with families who appreciate structure, kindness, and fun! Feel free to contact me for questions, references or to set up a meeting.

I have seven years of hands-on babysitting and nannying experience and have had the privilege of working with several wonderful families, caring for children ranging from newborns to teenagers. Over the years, I’ve developed a strong understanding of how children grow, learn, and thrive at each developmental stage. From supporting first-time parents during the newborn phase to helping school-aged children with routines, homework, and emotional regulation, I bring patience, adaptability, and genuine care into every role I take on. As the oldest of six siblings, childcare has been part of my life from a very young age. In addition to private nannying, I worked for two years as an assistant teacher at a school for children with autism. I supported kindergarten classrooms and collaborated with educators and families to create a safe, structured, and encouraging learning environment. I also worked as a Registered Behavioral Technician (RBT), assisting with individualized behavior plans and supporting children in developing communication, social, and life skills. This experience strengthened my ability to adapt my caregiving approach to each child’s unique personality and needs while emphasizing patience, positive reinforcement, and routine-building. I am Child and Baby First Aid/CPR/AED certified, ensuring I can provide safe and prepared care in everyday and emergency situations. I am also currently enrolled in a Newborn Care Specialist certification course to further expand my knowledge in infant care, sleep safety, feeding support, and early development. Child safety and well-being are always my top priorities. I have hands on experience assisting families with gentle sleep training, potty training, and baby-led weaning. I enjoy helping children reach developmental milestones while respecting each family’s parenting style and values. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents through open communication and reliable support. Beyond childcare, I am happy to assist with meal preparation, errands, pet care, and school pick-ups or drop-offs. My parents own an Italian bakery, and I grew up cooking and baking alongside them, so I am very comfortable preparing nutritious, balanced meals and snacks for children. I take pride in creating a nurturing, structured, and fun environment where children feel safe, supported, and genuinely cared for.
