Hi, my name is Tori! I’m 18 years old and love kids! I don’t have any professional experience taking care of kids, but I do have a younger sister that is currently 9 years old who I've had to help watch my whole life.

I became a sitter 4 years ago at 27 for 3 kids then it became 5 kids watching the newborns start walking and learn to talk being able to be a part of all their milestones was the best part. Developed a close bond with all the kids the 2 older ones had disabilities which was challenging but helps you see things differently.

I am currently in school to obtain my Bachelors in Elementary Education and I work for the CCSB as a teachers aid. I enjoy working with younger children and helping them learn and grow. I prefer positive reinforcement and redirection as methods of “discipline” I enjoy conversing with small children and engaging them through scaffolding and higher order thinking. I worked at the local Head Start program where we constantly interacted with the students to keep them honking and engaged.

I love being a sitter because I get to expand kids knowledge, learning, and to appreciate the things around them such as nature. Although I'm almost 19 I have 10+ year experience with kids, pets, and livestock. I have experience with kids with special needs from autism to OCD.
