Hi there! My name is Mackenzie! I am originally from Florida, but I am in SLC attending the U for college! I have had a few years of babysitting young boys as well as teaching tennis camp with ages ranging from 4-12!

I have been working with children since I was 16 years old. I started off as a nanny for a household of 3 children: 6, 9 and 11. In between working with this family I was also an after school counselor at Terwilliger elementary school from grade level K-5. My joy with children definitely comes from being the oldest and helping my mom by babysitting and looking after my siblings. The kids I did once nanny for eventually got older whom still reach out till this day and now I babysit for a household of 2 children when needed aging between 4 and 7. I am the oldest of 5 with a 1 year old brother who I tend to help my mom with when needed. Aside from childcare, I am currently in nursing school working on my ADN to become a registered nurse. I’m currently a BLS certified nurse technician at the hospital. i’ve been working part time at the hospital for 3 years to continue on with hands on care throughout nursing school. I have experience with infants, toddlers and adolescents. I as well have experience with children who have down syndrome, autism and as well as ADHD. I am a huge family and animal lover. I enjoy being outside and experiencing new adventures and hobbies, as well as cooking and baking. I’ve played multiple sports including: softball, volleyball, basketball, track and dance. I don’t have children of my own but i’m an amazing fur mom to my 8 year old yorkie :)

You're probably thinking... "why should I trust her with my kids"? Well, let me give you a couple of reasons. I've been watching over and taking care of kids since I was 9 ( it wasn't voluntary ( my nieces and nephews) ). I've led sabbath school for the little ones (ages 2-7) for almost 3 yrs ( till I had to move for college) . I've picked up a few tips and tricks along the way to make both the kids and I happy. I love working and teaching the kids because, they are our future and they will change the world. Most of all, I love having a deeper connection with the kids where they feel safe and can be themselves.
