I have been working in the Bay District School system for the past 4 years with my last position being a Paraprofessional in an ESE PreK class at Deer Point Elementary. I am CPR and first aid certified and have completed courses in early childhood education. I also have experience with infants and toddlers through daycare work but it turns out that being in a room by myself with 11 2 year old's for 40 hours a week is just not for me. That being said, if I can handle that many then I can definitely handle what any family has to throw at me. I have also held various volunteer positions throughout the years involving a wide range of children and abilities. Lastly, I am a proud mother of 4. My two youngest are about to turn 13 and 16 and my two oldest are attending college. My babies don't need me like they used to and so, I would like to fill my time caring for someone else's. I am a child at heart and love do things like watch movies, play board games, go swimming and go to the park. Hello, I have always been around children and babysitting since I was 12. I have been employed as a teacher's aide, nanny and daycare provider. As I got older and became a mother myself, I continued to babysit on and off. After having children I have done part-time At Home Daycare. It grew and though I stayed more on the part-time side, I have been blessed to get to care for many children. I enjoy all ages but have had the most children between the ages of 3 months-4 years old. Before closing I wanted to focus on having infants-2 years old. I really enjoy the developmental stages of all but love to work with babies and toddlers as they discover their world. I stopped doing daycare out of my home in 2021. Recently I have been searching for some part-time sitting jobs outside of my home. I am available to babysit children from birth-4 years/preschoolers. I am also available to pet sit if it is a drop in service you need. I am glad to stay with them for company as well as care for them. I go by the week or even the day and am open to schedule the night before if I am available. At this time I am only available for short hours, 1-4 hours. As an occasional sitter, we can go over your needs and determine if we could be a good fit.
