Hello, my name is Shayla Selon. I am a 22-year-old college student attending the university of Georgia studying to become a speech-language pathologist, or an audiologist. In both children and adults I am CPR, first aid, and AED certified with Red Cross. I am a fun, playful, lovable young adult, who loves interacting with kids and has been told she has a great connection of children. My experience comes from shadowing and helping my grandma babysit my sister and cousins over the summer since I was 12 to 18. During my sophomore and junior of high school, I was in an early education class where there was a daycare with 2 to 4 years old I would interact with them three days a week. We would do different activities with them For example, we would go on the go outside on the playground, make art projects, helped them with their ABCs and counting. Since joining the site, parents have trusted me to watch their Two and four year old siblings. Occasionally, I also watch sisters that are five and 10 years old. Most recently I’ve been trusted take care of a six month old for the day and the allowed me to bring her to my apartment since the grandmother was at work, and the mother was traveling. I love the way their minds work. They are so smart and so intelligent at such a young age is very interesting. I will care and look after your children as if they are my own. I will actively report if anything happens and would love to be known of any allergies or any fears that they may have that prevent them from having good time under my care. I would love to get to know your children have fun we can build Legos or we can crochet anything you wanna do I’m down. I hope you have a beautiful day and hope that you contact me soon.

My first job I was a babysitter. I took care of two kids ages three and seven for five years, after they moved, I started teaching swim lessons at a local gym which I have been doing for almost six years. Most of my students have been twelve and under. Working with kids is a big passion of mine and I can’t wait to help your family!

Hey my name is Andrea! I am currently in school as a Junior at the University of Georgia. I am a psychology major and I am hoping to go to nursing school after I finish my bachelors. I have 3 nephews and two cousins so I am always around kids and have great experience with them. I worked in a day care as well and most of my knowledge about kids comes from working there. I would love to use my past experience and skills to come and babysit for you! I do love animals, I have my own car, I will clean up/do house chores and I would love to do fun activities with your kids! I consider myself very compassionate and hardworking and I take any job I have very seriously. I am in the Athens area but don’t mind driving to where you are located. I am also CPR certified and have lots of experience with children of all ages. Thanks and I hope to babysit for you soon!

Hi there! I am Jada Willoughby, a recent graduate of Howard University, with a degree in Human Performance. Although I did not pursue a degree in early childhood education, I love working with the kiddos! I have experience working with ages 1-5 in childcare centers. In each role we emphasized play based learning and independence but also focused a lot on letter/number recognition, reading, and writing. It is important to allow them to express themselves because they are innocent, creative, and imaginative beings. Watching them develop new skills, learn new things, and grow into their own personalities is both beautiful and rewarding. My patience and compassion make the job both easy and fun! Regardless as to how many interactions I will have with your child, I hope I am able to impact them in some way. I look forward to making your load lighter, thank you for considering me for the position!

Hi! I’m caring, reliable, and have experience working with children of all ages. I have prior experience working in a preschool setting as a teachers aid, where I supported early learning, social-emotional growth, and creative play. I’m currently pursuing my PhD in Psychology at the University of Georgia, and I love bringing creativity, patience, and structure into my childcare. I’m happy to help with cooking, homework, and daily routines, and I’m certified in Lifeguarding, CPR, and First Aid. I am also comfortable working early mornings or late nights. While I’m not available for full-time care during the school year, I’m excited to connect with families who need a sitter!

Approaching my third year at UGA as a Horticulture Major. I marching in the Redcoat Band for 2 years as a Sousaphone. Love plants, pets, and kids! I worked at CFA for a spell and really miss the fast-paced fun involved with being a team member. I also worked at the Georgia FFA-FCCLA Center summer camp and loved cooking for, serving, encouraging, and instructing many smiling faces. I love spending time and watching my twin nieces (they're approaching the fun running age of two!) CPR certified with basic first aid training

Since I moved down here for school I’ve been trying to get back into babysitting just needed to wait until I had a schedule that allowed me to do so. I primarily worked with children ages 6-12 but used to work at a day care with children ranging from ages 1-10.
