I've always had a special place in my heart for children. As a stay at home mommy to my 2 kids, I decided to open a state licensed daycare in my home, so that I could be with my kids all the time. That lasted 22 years! I closed it down in 2021 so that we could move to Georgia to be near my grandbabies. I've always been extremely proud of the care, work, and love I put into all those children. It truly made my heart happy. I'd love to continue that now that we're here in Georgia as well!

Candy watched my twins from the age of two until elementary! And my youngest from birth until elementary. She is fantastic, we are so lucky to have had her as our trusted child care provider. It’s hard to trust someone you don’t know, with your most prized possession. She is one of the most loving, trusting and caring people I have ever met. I can promise you she is the care provider people search far and wide for.

Hello, I have passed the Sitter City background check but not sure it shows on my profile. 💖 I am a grandmother type, my only grandchild is 13 and lives in Minnesota. I am a grateful mother of three children who are now in their thirties, my youngest two are fraternal twins. When I have extra time on my hands I love helping children learn and play, discover their talents and especially to help see themselves as important and special. I do not drink, smoke or swear. I can be a bit silly but feel children learn best through fun and play. My major in college was psychology but am interested in many subjects and collect thousands of books. I am in the process of writing a few of my own including books for children. I have worked as a counselor, manager, instructor and more. I am just looking for part time occasional right now and have a flexible schedule so can help out in an emergency or just to give you a break so you can have a relaxing night out.

Hi! I’m a caring, patient, and dependable childcare provider who truly enjoys helping children learn, grow, and feel supported. I believe every child deserves a safe, nurturing environment where they feel valued, understood, and encouraged to be themselves. I have experience caring for children of all ages, including children with developmental disabilities. I currently work as a SPED Para (Special Education Paraprofessional), which has given me hands-on experience supporting children with different learning and behavioral needs with patience, kindness, and compassion. I am CPR, First Aid, and DSP (Direct Support Professional) certified. Safety is always my top priority, and I strive to create a positive, structured, and fun environment for every child I care for. My goal is to provide reliable, attentive care while giving parents peace of mind knowing their children are in good hands. I would love the opportunity to support your family this summer! 💜

My name is Miyai Carter, and I am a recent psychology graduate from Spelman College. I am extremely passionate about creativity--I write poetry, music, sing, etc., and I like to incorporate these things with the children I work with. My goal is to one day be a child psychologist, so I try to approach my babysitting with the things I learned. I know that every kid is different, so I like to try and really get to know them. I am currently getting my masters in Public Health at Emory University in Behavioral, Social Science.
