I am a recently retired (young) professional woman that loves kids.  When I retired I knew I needed to find something fulfilling to do and I thought about what has been most rewarding in my life and it has been spending time with my two younger sisters and Katie, a young 16 year old I have mentored since she was 7.   l am very active and like to take children (or adults) to places they have never been before where they can see and learn something new.  I am described as kind and a good listener.  I have worked with all ages of children both boys and girls, however, I particularly identify well with girls between the ages of 5 to teenage.  One of my younger sisters is a diabetic and suffers severe health issues and as a result and I have experience with wheelchairs and physical disabilities.  I feel that I am a good role model and I am looking for someone to nurture and hopefully make a positive impact on their lives.
