That then turned into after school watches for multiple families as well. I did stop baby sitting shortly after I graduated and got a full time desk job in audiology. When deciding to go back to school, I realized I could not keep working full time. Now, I do work part time, but get with me on days/times you are needing and I can let you know my availability since it does change week to week due to classes, work, current families I am sitting for, and clinicals. In 1988-1989, I completed a vocational program in child day care management. In 1990, I worked for 7 months as a temporary nanny for a child recovering from heart surgery. The job ended when the child was well enough to go back to day care. I have worked as a high school teacher for 15 years. I am also a mom. (Young empty-nester with no grandchildren. That is why I want to work as a nanny.)

I only have one year of paid experience and it was a family friend that moved away. But I had a lot of little siblings and spent majority of my life and their lives taking care of them. I have training in CPR only. only because my high school didn’t have the funds to get me a certification.
