Hello , my name is Glendy. I live in Summerville GA, I love working with kids ! I love to play soccer,and I could do some basketball,tennis, etc ... You name it!, I love doing crafts, color, and draw, love my job , I have experience since I was in high school!

I’ve only sat for my family, but I taught in a gymnastics gym boys/girls ages 3-18 from 2020-2024, I also have 3 nieces, a 1,3,and 4 year old. I can help in any way as in baths, meals, changing diapers, following routine, helping kids with homework, taking them places, playing with them, anything. I am also a certified CBA and PCT. I am in college at JSU, majoring in nursing and I will be a sophomore this year. I am also in a sorority, Alpha Xi Delta. Our purpose to help kids going through the system or homelessness.

I would love to be a babysitter because it would allow me to make a positive impact on children's lives while doing something truly rewarding. Babysitting gives me the chance to form meaningful connections with children, helping them learn, grow, and have fun in a safe and nurturing environment. I enjoy being creative, patient, and responsible. Knowing that parents trust me with their little ones adds a sense of pride and purpose to the job. In the peds office, I've developed a strong understanding of child development, health, and safety, which helps me create a comfortable environment for kids, whether at the office or in a babysitting setting. In the pediatric office, I've built skills in communicating with children in a gentle, reassuring way, which is incredibly useful when building trust. Both experiences require patience, responsibility, and the ability to respond quickly to situations, whether it’s managing a child’s behavior, calming an anxious child, or recognizing when something might be wrong. Ultimately, my pediatric office experience provides me with the medical and developmental knowledge and hands-on caregiving skills.
