I am an elementary education major at University of Northern Iowa, and I am home in DeSoto for summer. I love babysitting because it gives me the opportunity to connect and take care of children. I have been babysitting and nannying on and off over the last 3 years. I have been a nanny to a 3 year old girl and have babysat for multiple families from children's ranging from 1 to 12 years old. I am CPR certified and have my drivers license with my own car. I love to do hands on activities and crafts and can also help out around the house with cooking and cleaning.

I have always loved kids I come from a big family, my mom has one sister and 6 brothers and let's just say I have always been the one that is willing to help. I have also nannied for a family for two years that was very active in sports, clubs and FFA. I always found the time to make a quick trip to the pool:) Not Only have I been babysitting for years, and a couple years of nannying, I am also a CNA (Certified Nursing Aide) I help the people that are unable to do there daily activities. This includes providing hygiene care, helping them walk, and showing them compassion. Some of the skills I have is I am first aid trained and I am also CPR certified.
