I have always had a natural connection with children and genuinely enjoy spending time with them. For about two to three years, I cared for my younger cousins, which deepened my passion for working with kids and engaging them in fun, creative, and meaningful activities. In addition to childcare, I take pride in helping others by assisting with household chores and contributing to a clean, organized environment. I find fulfillment in supporting families and making daily life a little easier for those around me.

I love being a sitter because I enjoy caring for others and providing peace of mind to families. Knowing that I can create a safe, supportive, and comfortable environment for someone while their loved ones are away is very rewarding. I also value the trust families place in me, and I take pride in being dependable and compassionate. I have nieces and nephews that I babysit all the time. I have a lot of younger cousins it’s just always been in me with working with kids.

I am a PhD student in the philosophy department at the university. I am from Scotland, and have three nephews back home. I have a car here in Iowa city.

I will read to your child, work on colors, numbers, letters, and sing songs. I do homework, chores, games , etc with older children. I’ve been in the area my whole life- started school at Penn elementary & ended up graduating high school from clear creek Amana- it was a lot smaller when I graduated. I love to go for walks, take your children to the pool, to the library, to the mall. I enjoy finding activities for children to create. Reading books, watching movies ( I understand some parents have rules about their kids and too much screen time) I'm available for date night sitting as well. I'm comfortable with all ages of young children. I'm comfortable with pets. I grew up with a variety of pets.
