I have extensive experience as a caregiver for children, animals, and the elderly. In my current role as a paraprofessional, I specialize in working with children with disabilities, specifically those with Autism and ADHD. I am First Aid/CPR certified and maintain all relevant ADA/ AEA certifications. A background check was recently completed, and while I passed, I believe the current badge misrepresents my report. I am concerned that motor vehicle violations from 2021 are negatively impacting the badge status, despite not reflecting my professional caregiving capabilities. I took a first aid class for children and have been CPR certified from that same class as well as my high school and being a lifeguard. I have nannied and babysat since I was 13 years old. Hello! I’m a 20 year old who has had a love for kids sense I was a teen. I started out babysitting my own siblings and then extended family and family friends. I have several years of experience in paid babysitting from families that I can give as references. I also nannied all summer a couple of years ago for 2 kids ages 7 and 9. I have tons of driving experience. I have worked with ages 0-12 a ton. The last 4 years I’ve been mostly working with ages 0-2, 2-5, and some elementary ages. I absolutely love working with 1-3 kids vs a daycare setting as it allows me to connect with them more and do things catered more to what they desire. I love running errands if you need someone to go grocery shopping for you, transporting kids to swimming lessons or sports, going to the park, trampoline parks, or any other activities.
