I have been babysitting for about 8 years now. I have worked at a childcare center on base when I lived in California and also did a class in which I actively worked with the kids at the childcare center at my college and made lesson plans and observed children and their developmental skills. I have known that I wanted to work with kids for a long time, which is the reason I have pursued and will keep pursuing an education in childcare. :)

Outside of caregiving, I’m a backpacker who’s traveled the world, supporting myself along the way. Those experiences have opened my eyes to so many ways of living and have deepened my appreciation for curiosity, kindness, and confidence—values I bring to every child I care for. I’m currently working towards studying wildlife conservation and learning Swahili to help protect Kenya’s wildlife one day. I’ll be moving to Australia in mid-November, so I’m looking for short-term babysitting jobs. Even if it’s temporary, I promise to give your child my full energy, support, and care.
