I am First Aid/CPR certified and maintain all relevant ADA/ AEA certifications. A background check was recently completed, and while I passed, I believe the current badge misrepresents my report. I am concerned that motor vehicle violations from 2021 are negatively impacting the badge status, despite not reflecting my professional caregiving capabilities. Why do you love being a sitter? I’ve always found purpose when it comes to caring for kids. There’s something incredibly rewarding about helping them feel safe, seen, and supported as they grow. What experience do you have? Oldest of four with an unofficial PhD in conflict resolution, snack distribution, diaper duty, and last-minute science project rescues. For 10 years, I’ve been the built-in babysitter, backseat therapist, and go-to role model—earning my stripes in spilled juice, scraped knees, helping with everything from ABCs to algebra. I’ve learned how to balance patience with play and structure with silliness, all while showing up with love and reliability. What skills and training do you have? I’m currently attending Kirkwood Community College for nursing and have completed my first year, which included courses in anatomy, nutrition, psychology, and developmental psychology. This academic foundation gives me a deeper understanding of child development and overall wellness. I’m also a certified CNA with clinical training in patient care and emergency procedures like the Heimlich maneuver. I also am CPR certified!

I truly love being around kids and have always felt very comfortable caring for them. Watching children grow, learn new things, and develop their own personalities is incredibly rewarding to me. I enjoy building real relationships with the kids I care for and creating a safe, fun, and supportive environment where they feel understood and encouraged. I am a in search for a new beginning, I love taking care of my fur babies as well as others. I on occasion babysit a family friends' granddaughter and used to babysit a friends' twins, as well as for my siblings at times. I have 2 sisters that I helped take care of all the time growing up and not only that but had a few babysitting jobs when I was in middle school and high school for friends of my parents. my mom had an in home daycare that I was around growing up for quite a while. I also had a job coaching gymnastics for about a year and I coached from 18 months to 6 year olds. I have a passion for children and want many of my own when my fiance and I get married.
