I have well over 25 years of professional Nanny/House Managing/Personal Assistant experience, in addition a to Pre-School teaching and Pre-School swim instruction background. I also have In-Home Day Care experience at my Westchester residence. I have a Child Development/Psychology background. I have an extensive medical background/CPR trained and can handle children with special needs. Kids respond to me because I am patient, outgoing, fun-loving and try to relate to them at their level. I also try to make every day a fun learning experience. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. I am high energy and fit, working 50-60 hours a week caring for children. On the weekends, when I’m not working, you’ll find me running around the dog show ring, or practicing agility. My current 7 month old Kasha, is working on her AKC obedience titles. She has some big paws to fill! I have a Law Enforcement/Animal Control Officer, a Medical/ Medical Computer Systems background and have also worked in the Corporate world. All of those jobs I really enjoyed. But I’m completely happy and comfortable in a private/domestic setting taking care of children and managing a household. I excel at ensuring that the household is running smoothly, and I like putting my excellent organizational skills to work. It is a very gratifying experience for me. To be successful, there needs to be teamwork and open communication. I’m a firm believer in consistency and structure...  I’m professional, comical, considerate of others, a bit of a neat freak and a little bit of a workaholic; and 100% dependable! I have many years of experience with children in a wide range of settings, including many years of babysitting for families in their homes, working as a summer camp counselor, as an assistant teacher in a daycare, and volunteering in two elementary schools.
