Friday/Saturday/Sunday minimum hours paid is 4 hours. Booking is payable for agreed upon duration even if you come home early. Late arrivals after agreed upon time is 1.5X the agreed upon rate. I've been a nanny/babysitter since I was 18. I'm now 35 years old and I have a 6 (almost 7) year old son. I've always enjoyed interacting with kids and caring for them. I know how hard it is to leave your children with a stranger so I always to make everyone feel comfortable and be that extra hand they count on. I was in the army reserves for a few years and have also worked in a pediatric dental office as an assistant and receptionist. My now ex husband joined the army and so we had to move around a bit and we just moved back to the Mundelein area. Now he is in school all day so its not longer a neccesity but I still would like to find families who wouldnt mind if i needed to for all the random days off of school, however I know it's not for everyone so I would understand and have care for him.
