I'm a certified lifeguard, CPR/first-aid trained, and I have my youth mental health first aid certification. I have experience with ages 1-18, and have experience working with children with mental and physical disabilities. I'm new to the Champaign-Urbana area and would love to connect with some local families! My favorite part of working with kids is helping them embrace their creativity and curiosity. Hi! My name is Katya and I'm a sophomore at UIUC. I'm majoring in Cognitive Neuroscience in Psychology and minoring in Ecology and Wildlife Conservation. I'm a super social person and I love to do anything creative. I have a car on campus and I have experience in driving kids to activities, coaching gymnastics, and babysitting. I began working with kids when I was a gymnast on my high school team. Throughout the year we had a program called Junior Wildkits where I worked to help coach younger kids. In the summer I was a camp counselor for the same program.
