Hi ! I'm a single mother to my daughter who just graduated from the Physician Assistant program at Marquette. Proud Mom here! I have over 20 years of babysitting and caregiving experience and am currently certified in Basic Life Support and First Aid. I grew up working at my mother's daycare center, where my passion for working with children bloomed. Over the years, I've volunteered in my church's nursery, taught Sunday school for Pre-K and Kindergarten, and cared for my daughter/nieces/nephews, as well as babysitting for friends and neighbors. I started my career as a professional caregiver over 10 years ago, so I have experience with anyone from infants to teenagers to the elderly. For the past few years, I have worked as a medical assistant in a variety of healthcare settings. To me, caring for children is very rewarding and I love what I do. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family and my friends I am comfortable with pets. I have a reliable car and am able to help with homework, mealtimes, and light housekeeping. I value safe and fun experiences and love to incorporate learning into play and everyday activities. I Love making each day fun and kids smile. I'm a smiley bubbly positive person myself. I'd love to learn more about the ways I can specifically serve you and your family!

Gina was such a kind, caring and compassionate nanny. She was so great with my two year old and eight month old. She is full of energy, very fun and loves to play with the kids! She was extremely respectful and a great communicator. She was always on time and was a quick learner! I was so nervous to leave my kids with someone, but Gina immediately made me feel comforted and genuinely cared about my family. My kids are close in age, which can be tough, but she handled them both wonderfully. I would recommend her to anyone and you’d be lucky to have her as a nanny!

I have well over 25 years of professional Nanny/House Managing/Personal Assistant experience, in addition a to Pre-School teaching and Pre-School swim instruction background. I also have In-Home Day Care experience at my Westchester residence. I have a Child Development/Psychology background. I have an extensive medical background/CPR trained and can handle children with special needs. Kids respond to me because I am patient, outgoing, fun-loving and try to relate to them at their level. I also try to make every day a fun learning experience. I am not afraid to get my hands dirty. In the summer you can find me on the ground catching insects, teaching the children how to fish, or catching bullfrogs/ turtles to study (catch and release). I am a big nature-lover. I am an avid fisher-woman, excellent swimmer and horseback-rider. My hobby is training/entering my German Shepherd Dogs in Obedience/Conformation Competition). My previous 14 year old female Lexxi, was a UKC Champion, who held 5 titles and 44 awards. She also did therapy work. I’ve also owned cats, ferrets, guinea pigs, rabbits, and a cockatiel named SpongeBob! Although I am no "spring chicken" so to speak, don’t let my age deter you. I am high energy and fit, working 50-60 hours a week caring for children. On the weekends, when I’m not working, you’ll find me running around the dog show ring, or practicing agility. My current 7 month old Kasha, is working on her AKC obedience titles. She has some big paws to fill! I have a Law Enforcement/Animal Control Officer, a Medical/ Medical Computer Systems background and have also worked in the Corporate world. All of those jobs I really enjoyed. But I’m completely happy and comfortable in a private/domestic setting taking care of children and managing a household. I excel at ensuring that the household is running smoothly, and I like putting my excellent organizational skills to work. It is a very gratifying experience for me. To be successful, there needs to be teamwork and open communication. I’m a firm believer in consistency and structure... I’m professional, comical, considerate of others, a bit of a neat freak and a little bit of a workaholic; and 100% dependable! I am also a parent, although my daughter is much, much older. I’m a long time Sittercity member. I recently left my Nanny position of over 8 years in River Forest. Thank you for your time. I look forward to hearing from you!

Sheila is a great cat sitter and a great lady. She very clearly loves animals, as you can tell from her bio. She was very conscientious about maintaining a consistent feeding schedule and interacting with my cat. She texted me with an update after every visit. I will definitely hire her again.

My name is Jill Patel and I would love to be your next helper! I am a rising junior at the university of pittsburgh where I am majoring in neuroscience and child development. A little bit about me is that I love all kinds of animals, I can speak 4 languages fluently (English, Gujarati, Hindi, French), and I love the outdoors. I has lots of experience with kids since I was a nanny for a 2 year old and an 8 month old, and I have been a tennis coach for 4 years. I adore kids of all ages and love to connect with each of them. They bring a fresh perspective to everything and can brighten up any sad day. Working as a tennis coach with children as young as 3 and adults as old as 60, I have picked up a lot of tips and tricks when it comes to working and engaging with children. I believe that my job has really given me an insight on what goes on their little minds and how I can form a relationship with them. So I’ve encountered any and all situations with kids from ad young as infants and up to high schoolers. I like to approach with a more hands-on approach regarding activities, with limited screen time. I always have lots of games, stories, educative learning, and imagery play ready to go!

Jill is phenomenal. She is very attentive to my rambunctious kindergartner, respectful and above all follows through on what she says she will do, even if it’s not super convenient for her. She is kind, intelligent and personable. I definitely recommend her and plan on keeping her on speed dial.

I have my degree from Northern Illinois University with a degree in Elementary Education. I have a current teaching certification. I have a ton of experience with meal prep and laundry as well! Our family hired Amy to care for our infant from January 2026 through May 2026, when our baby was approximately 4–8 months old. From her very first day, Amy was calm, capable, and attentive, and she quickly became a trusted part of our daily routine. Amy has excellent infant-care skills and strong knowledge of age-appropriate development. She spent time on the floor engaging our baby with purposeful play, consistently encouraging tummy time and early milestones in a way that was both fun and supportive. She read our baby’s cues well, adjusted activities thoughtfully, and always prioritized a soothing, secure environment. She was also wonderful at getting our baby down for naps—patient, gentle, and consistent—helping maintain healthy sleep habits and keeping the day on schedule. As my husband and I both work from home, Amy communicated clearly with us throughout the day about naps, feeds, mood, and developmental progress, and she was always receptive to our preferences and any updates to routines. Amy is punctual, reliable, and professional, and we consistently felt that our child was safe, cared for, and genuinely loved in her hands. In addition to outstanding childcare, Amy showed initiative in helping our household run smoothly. She proactively tidied play areas, kept our home clean, and offered help with housework without needing direction. Amy is warm, responsible, and highly competent, and I recommend her without hesitation to any family seeking a nanny they can fully trust. She would be an excellent caregiver for infants and young children, and any household would be fortunate to have her!

I have been a stay at home Mom for our boy's entire lives. They are now grown men, and I have become a Grandma. I really enjoy care giving whether for the very young or the elderly. I am a Christian, non smoking, first aid trained, very experienced babysitter. I have been a nanny for ten years. I have my own transportation, and can provide pick up after school. I am very reliable, punctual and flexible if needs arise. I am also a Stephen Minister with even more training in care and communication. Please allow me to give fun and careful care in your absence, so that you may be able to rest easy and not be concerned about the home front while you are away. I can be available M-F in your home. Currently, looking for a part time Nanny position for the 26/27 school year. I enjoyed giving care to a four and five year old active brothers during the 17/18, 18/19, 19/20, 20/21, and 21/22 school years. At that point they no longer needed after school care. This involved transportation to/from the grade school as well as transportation to/from the preK where the four year old was enrolled daily. We had a lot of fun together. In (2016-17) I cared for 2 elementary age sisters before and after school. Since their Mom is a teacher, she is home with them for the summer. The school year before that (15/16), I worked for a family with a 4th grade daughter and a 7th grade son. I have enjoyed becoming a part of their family. I am finding that I am in need of more than the 10.5 hours this dear family can give me. The previous year (14/15), I enjoyed caring for a 5th grade boy. The following fall he was being bused to his Jr. high and no longer needed a caregiver as he had older siblings. Would love to hear from you ASAP if you are in need of reliable, on time, transportation provider, and nurturing care giving for your children after school in the 203 Naperville district. My neighborhood elementary school is Steeple Run, so that is obviously my preference. Would prefer to stay in District 203.
