While I am new to it as a profession, ive been the go to family babysitter for years and recently expanded past just family. I have my own car and am willing to drive kiddos when needed. I am very open to communicating with parents about goals and what they want done during my time. I have experience with children on the spectrum, and love to play games with them.

I have plenty experience in babysitting from my little brother, cousins, mom’s friends, life guarding class where I learned cpr, and a safe sitter class where I learned the heimlich and other safety procedures. Hi! My name is Becca. I’m a master’s student in architecture, just hoping to earn a little bit extra to support my school. I love kids and have a lot of experience working with all ages, as a babysitter back in high school and more recently as a camp counselor for three summers. My style is very relational, I find that when I show kids I care about them am interested in what they have to say, they are much more likely to listen and respect when I need to enforce a rule. I’m also a big believer in incorporating screen-free fun, and know lots of hands-on games and activities for this. I still have really great relationships with all of my previous kiddos and their families, although most of them are too old to need a sitter anymore! I have only used this app once or twice before. I the past I got most of my babysitting jobs through parents who recommended me to others, so I never used a formal platform. I can provide those references upon request! As for other qualifications, I spent many years as a lifeguard and while my certification is no longer active I am comfortable with first aid and in emergency situations.
