Hi! My name is Becca. I’m a master’s student in architecture, just hoping to earn a little bit extra to support my school. I love kids and have a lot of experience working with all ages, as a babysitter back in high school and more recently as a camp counselor for three summers. My style is very relational, I find that when I show kids I care about them am interested in what they have to say, they are much more likely to listen and respect when I need to enforce a rule. I’m also a big believer in incorporating screen-free fun, and know lots of hands-on games and activities for this. I still have really great relationships with all of my previous kiddos and their families, although most of them are too old to need a sitter anymore! I have only used this app once or twice before. As for other qualifications, I spent many years as a certified CPR/First Aid trained lifeguard and while my certification is not currently active I am comfortable with first aid and in emergency situations. Hello friends and family, my name is Mackenzie, and caring for children in my community has been a core element of my life. I started watching children at the young age of 13 and have continued to do so through high school, and then college.
