My name is Marcaja Todd. I am 24 years old. I attend Purdue University majoring in Computer Engineering with a minor in ASL. I do not have any babysitting certificates but have worked in numerous of daycares. I am originally from Chicago, I’ve worked for an organization in Chicago called the Better Boys Foundation. I watched kids 5-12 years old until their parents came to pick them up. I helped them with homework, serving them food, and help them get themselves organized for the next school day. I also volunteered at the Big Brother Big Sister organization. I helped my little with her homework and getting organized for school also. We also spent time talking about our day getting to know each other, and we also played games. My family also own a daycare. We accept kids 3 & up. I helped change diapers, cook for the kids, help with homework, read to them, and any other care a child needs. I love working with kids it’s one of my passions. I am also CPR certified.

I have had the privilege of working with children off and on for the last four years. I have taught Sunday school and watched up to five children at one time, ranging from 5 months to 12 years old. I enjoy very much participating in outdoor activities and helping them broaden their imaginations and creativity with arts and crafts and also sports.

I’m going to be a second year college student studying to get a degree in Biology at Purdue University. I have experience with being a live-in nanny and with working at a daycare. Similarly, I am an older sister of many children ranging from 1-17 years old. I have training in First Aid and CPR, though I am in the process of renewing my certification. Hello! My name is Mallory Moore. Some things to know about me is that I grew up the middle child in a huge family full of little ones. So by nature, I turned into the trusty baby sitter! Growing up I've always wanted more then anything to be in child care, whatever that tittle may be. During Covid while I was in school, I also had to home school my two elementary school aged cousins, prepare meals and make sure they were taken care of and comfortable. All while staying onto of my duties and school work. That was just the start for me and I have taken care of several children from the ages newborn to middle school since. In high school I took all the classes I could on child development so that I could have another foot in the door for gaining more knowledge in this field. So for me it would not just be "another job". I love what I do and making positive impacts on children lives is what drives me to this day!
