In my past professional life, I was a high school English and Humanities teacher, and I taught for 6 years in the Jefferson County School system before moving to Hebron in 2008. Childcare however, has always been a passion of mine as I absolutely love kids and spending time with them. I am passionate about spending as much time as possible outdoors (my family loves camping and hiking), with plenty of time for reading, imaginative play, arts and crafts and eating healthy.    Currently, I am looking for a part-time position with one family, ideally only 1-2 days a week, where I would provide care in your home, between the hours of approximately 9:00 - 2:30 with some additional flexibility on Fridays. I have three amazing boys of my own, ages 13, 10 1/2 and 8 who will all be attending school full-time at Xavier Montessori in Cincinnati this fall after a year and a half of homeschooling.    In relation to childcare I have: ~ Over 20 years of exceptional experience with all ages (newborn-teenager) in various settings (day-care worker/pre-school teacher, babysitter, mother's helper, full-time/part-time nanny, tutor, and high school teacher) ~ Excellent references (only available after I interview with you to protect the privacy and time of my previous employers) ~ Reliable, safe transportation (2019 VW Passat) ~ Background check ~ CPR certified/First-aid Certified ~ Non-smoker ~ No allergies (animals or otherwise) In addition, I am vaccinated and I will wear a mask when warranted. (I understand everyone’s freedom of choice, however my oldest son is immunocompromised, so I am only looking to work in a household where the adults are vaccinated and mask-wearing is supported).
