Hello! I am a mom of three kids. They are 21, 16 and 6. I homeschool my youngest which allows flexibility in our schedule. I bring my daughter with me. I will not be homeschooling her while caring for your children though. Starting in January I am available on Mondays, Tuesdays and Fridays from 7:30 am to 6:30 pm. We live in Winfield/Lakes of the Four Seasons. I don't mind traveling a bit further depending on hours and pay. I can babysit in my home or yours if that’s what you prefer. I always bring our own food and drinks with us and anything else that we need. We spend a lot of time reading, dancing, singing, drawing, painting, cooking, baking, homework, walks, parks, spending time playing outdoors when it’s nice. I’m very comfortable with caring for any age. I am also comfortable with pets. I’m ok with driving the kids for drop off and pick up to school or activities depending on distance. I have my degree in early childhood education. Before becoming a mom I taught preschool and worked in daycare. I also worked in before and after school childcare at an elementary school and summer camps. I have volunteered for years in my own kids' school as well as briefly working there teaching reading. I volunteered at church in the kid's ministry as well as working in childcare in the church. I am currently babysitting occasionally for a family but I really need to find something more consistent. I can provide references. Message me with any questions. Have A Blessed Day!!!

I began babysitting when I was 12 yrs. old and have always enjoyed caring for and teaching children. While growing up, my Mom was a babysitter, so I saw first hand what all the job entailed. My summer jobs were always as a nanny and included: outdoor activities, swimming lessons (I was on a swim team for 10 years and a certified life guard), age appropriate lessons/tutoring in reading, writing, spelling, and math, social skills, crafts, cooking, and errands. I truly enjoyed it! I retired 9 years ago and decided to go back to doing what I truly love... being a nanny. Over the past 9 years I've had the pleasure of helping a number of families. I have a lot of love, patience, and knowledge still left to give, so I would like to find another family to be a nanny and/or house manager for. I have experience with newborns through junior high age, twins, multiple children, special needs, love pets, am a non-smoker, very active, and love the outdoors. I will also bring along my exceptional organizational skills, prepare meals, run errands, tutor, accommodate activities/schedules, vacation travels, overnights, pet sit, and whatever else I can do to help. I am CPR and First Aid Certified for all ages as well as having a clean driving record and background. I am Covid vaccinated and Tdap up-to-date. Please feel free to message me with any questions you may have. I look forward to meeting my next amazing family!

I love being a sitter because I truly enjoy making a positive impact in children’s lives and supporting families in meaningful ways. I value creating safe, engaging, and nurturing environments where children can learn and grow through play and everyday moments. I especially enjoy creative opportunities for naturalistic learning, particularly with younger children. I’m calm, playful, and a kid at heart, while also knowing when to step into a more structured and disciplined role to support routines and expectations. I have about four years of experience working with children of all ages. My background includes working as a Teacher Assistant in a daycare facility, serving as a preschool teacher, and most recently working as a Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) with children on the autism spectrum. Through these roles, I’ve gained experience with daily routines, behavior support, developmental milestones, and building strong, trusting relationships with children and families. I am CPR and First Aid certified and hold a Bachelor’s degree in Clinical Psychology. I am currently working toward my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Roosevelt University, where I also serve as a Graduate Assistant. My training has given me a strong foundation in child development, behavior support, emotional regulation, and positive reinforcement strategies. I am comfortable with pets (I have a cat and have lived with both cats and dogs most of my life) and am happy to help with light housekeeping, laundry, dishes, meal preparation, and transportation as needed. While I balance graduate school and my assistantship, I am very motivated to work collaboratively with families to find a schedule that works well for both of us.
