I've led girl scout troops, coached soccer, volunteered in classrooms, led children's parties and events, volunteered as a tutor in homeless centers, served as PTO president and room parent, cofounded and led a homeschool group, and cared for children in the foster care system. I also babysat and nannied part-time when I was a stay at home mom. My friends knew I was great with kids and my children were very well behaved so some of my days were spent caring for friends' children in addition to my own.
