I love working with kids, even though admittedly they can be tiring and wear a person out, but they're also fun and it's a special experience seeing the world through their eyes and interacting with kids and using my own imagination to encourage their imaginations. At an interview I had for a nannying position I was asked if I have a child care philosophy, and while I don't exactly have one, I don't like just putting a child in front of the tv; I much prefer laying and interacting with the child(ren) I am caring for. Occasionally I don't mind putting on a pre-approved movie or show if that has already been arranged with the parent, but that is more of a special occasion thing.
