I’ve been around childcare my entire life. My parents owned a childcare center in the 90s and brought it to Indiana in the early 2000s, so growing up I was always surrounded by children of all ages. Because of that, I learned early on how to help create a safe, structured, and nurturing environment. I officially started assisting in the childcare setting at age 13, helping with daily routines, meals, activities, and supervision. Over the years, I’ve gained experience with feeding, hygiene, engaging children in developmental activities, keeping them safe, and understanding different behaviors and needs.
