Hi! I’m Fatouma, a recent Purdue grad with a degree in Psychological Sciences and a lifelong love for working with children. I’ve been babysitting since I was 9, helping out with younger cousins, family friends, and neighbors. I started getting paid for sitting at 14 and haven’t stopped since! Over the years, I’ve cared for kids of all ages and personalities, and I truly enjoy building individual relationships with each child. What I love most about babysitting is being able to create a safe, fun, and nurturing environment where kids can just be themselves. I know how important it is for parents to have someone they can trust, and I take that responsibility seriously. This gave me insight into the developmental needs of young children and helped strengthen my skills in observation, communication, and age-appropriate engagement. I currently work for Purdue’s Human Research Protections Program and live in West Lafayette with my boyfriend and our two kittens. Hi! I am a Purdue student studying Biology, and I plan to go into further schooling to become a Pediatric Ultrasound tech or Nurse. I love being surrounded by kids. Growing up, I was always playing with my three sisters and my younger cousins. We would always play different dress up or active games. At Purdue, I am also in College Mentors for Kids, where I get paired with an elementary student. We do activities to inspire learning and explore opportunities for the kids. I am also involved in Special Olympics, where I get to play sports with different people. I love being able to bring equal opportunities and enjoyment to all people. On my off time, I enjoy being active outside and cooking food. I am BLS (basic life support) certified, and I have lots of patience with kids. I also enjoy being around dogs (I am allergic to cats). I have a car, so I am willing to run errands with the kids and do different chores. I am excited and hope that I can be a babysitter for you!

I love being a sitter as growing up I always helped at my church nursery and did camp counseling for a church camp a couple of years as well. I always have gotten along with kids even to younger kids when I was just a kid myself. I enjoy the kids they have so much joy and energy very wholesome to see in a not so wholesome world. I am a hard worker and have great communication skills and great problem solving skills. I am a senior in marine biology at Purdue University.

Hi! I'm Bella (Isabella), and I am 20 years old and a junior at Purdue. I have been a babysitter for several families for 6 years. I have mostly worked very closely with one family where I took the kids to and from school most days, did after-school activities, took the kids to playdates, and did bedtime and wake-up. I have worked with ages 3 months to 12 years old, but mostly have worked with 3 months to 7. I have lots of experience with multiple children at once, as I have mostly babysat for families with 3 or more children. I can cook healthy, simple, kid-friendly meals, and I can do laundry, and overall, I am very neat. I have taken and passed the Red Cross Lifeguard certification, which includes CPR on both infants, children, and adults and basic first aid.
