I worked at a daycare for well over a year and have been babysitting since I was 13. I primarily work with younger kids (newborns-7 years) but I definitely will work with any age. I’m CPR certified, first aid certified, and safe sleep certified! My rate starts at $20 a hour for one child and it’s an extra $5 a hour for every child more. I love kids and have a lot of experience working with all ages, as a babysitter back in high school and more recently as a camp counselor for three summers. My style is very relational, I find that when I show kids I care about them am interested in what they have to say, they are much more likely to listen and respect when I need to enforce a rule. I’m also a big believer in incorporating screen-free fun, and know lots of hands-on games and activities for this.
