Hi there! I am Kaylee and I am currently a sophomore in college, majoring in Psychology. My goal is to become a child psychiatrist! I am an aunt and am experienced with taking care of my 5 nieces and 3 nephews, soon to be 4. Now that I’ve moved away from home and family, I would love to take my knowledge and help babysit. I do have my own car. I’m patient, I love building connections, and would love to help kids to learn and grow.

I have experience caring for toddlers and school-aged children, assisting with homework, organizing fun activities, and promoting learning through play. I am currently enrolled at Washburn University for a bachelors in Theatre and Speech Education, I also have 3 years of elementary and early childhood education experience. I am currently employed during the school year with the YWCA in collaboration with Topeka Public Schools as a teacher for an elementary Kids Quest Program. I am very open and available during the summer. I am CPR and Stop The Bleed certified, as well as having my Paraprofessionals license and De-Escalation Behavioral Training certificates. I worked as a substitute teacher and after school teaching with Marietta charter school. After all of my kids were in school I went to work for their school district in their kitchen and then I became a special education para in both the middle school and elementary. Hello 👋 I have about 3 cumulative years of paid childcare experience. I've worked at a daycare with 2-3 year olds. I've been at nanny for 3 children, ages 9, 4, 2 at the time of care and Ive been paid to care for a few of my own nephews and nieces. Unpaid childcare has ranged from leading Sunday school classes, homeschool co-op classes and my own children. I have an 8 year old autistic/adhd son, who I homeschool. He is high functioning. He would be with me as I am watching your children. We love to be outside, go to the library, do crafts, play games.
