Hi! My name is Anna, and I am currently a student at Wichita State University. I have worked with an array of ages of kids, from two boys from the ages of 1-4 and 4-7, two girls 8 and 12, and a daycare worker for 10-12 kids of the ages 3-5. I am capable of putting kids to bed, helping with chores around the house, groceries – anything you need me to do! Currently, my availability is M-W before 5, Friday before 1, and Saturday and Sundays after 5! If communicated at least two weeks in advance, I can take time off to come spend time with your kids! My rates are $15-20 dollars for the first three children, after that I do charge an extra five dollars for any additional children! (Sittercity wouldn’t let me put a number below minimum wage!!) As a single parent working full time Julie has organized my children, aged 8, 11, and 14, giving each one responsibility and helping them to realize that responsibility. Julie has made sure the house is cleaned up, the kids take responsibility for there own clothes and toys, picking up after themselves. By assigning chores and seeing they complete the chores she has been helping them learn responsibility. Julie was taking the 8 year old to school in the morning and picking up the 11, and 14 year old up after school everyday. Julie also helped get the kids to after school appointments and functions so that I would not have to take time off work. During the day Julie would clean up the house and decorate the house for the seasons. Julie would also do the laundry so that we always had clean clothes. Julie is very good with the kids, keeping track of their responsibilities, helping with home work and making sure where they were and who they were playing with. My kids all got along with Julie very well and they quickly formed a bond that helped them see Julie as a great roll model. Hello! I'm a mother of three adult children, and a grandma to one amazing little boy!! I previously owned my own licensed home daycare in Illinois. We ended up in Vegas a few years ago, where I was a nanny to an amazing family. With them now in school full time, I’ve moved to Kansas so I can spend time with my grandson. I spent two years working at the Wichita Children’s Home, and now I find myself searching for an amazing family once again! I’m laid back with an great sense of humor, and love to play and joke around with kids as well as allowing them their own free time. I strongly believe in positive reinforcement and redirection, and that instead of a “because I said so” approach, it can be a teaching opportunity so they can apply the knowledge in future situations. I have references available but I do not hand them out until after we meet and decide we would like to move forward in the process. I don't want people bugging my previous clients unnecessarily!
