Hi! My name is Annie, and I just recently moved to Denver this past August. I am originally from Kansas, where I completed my degree in Political Science at Wichita State University. I came to Denver following two years of law school at Washburn University, and I am currently finishing out my third year while externing part-time at a law firm here. During my undergrad, I worked full-time at a daycare, mainly caring for kids in the two-year-old and five-year-old rooms. I would prepare their meals, do fun activities with them throughout the day, and plan their general weekly schedules along with assisting the older kids with homework. After I graduated, I became a nanny full-time for a set of one-year-old twins during part of the week and three other kids ranging from three to five years in age. I would take them to the local library, swimming, the zoo, and any other activity that was close by. In total, I have around 5.5 years of paid experience. I’m currently looking for something part-time that could be evenings or weekends, or any other day I don’t have to go into the office.
