In college I spent a lot of my time volunteering at Vanderbilt’s children’s hospital. I spent the last 9 months as a childcare teacher to infants, toddlers, and children up to six years old. I love working with children. Both caring for them and teaching them. Being able to be a positive influence in a child’s life is not only rewarding, but I find it to be an opportunity that one cannot find in many other places.

I did over two years with a 9 month old, 9 year old and a newborn! I cleaned. Took the son to school, took care of the newborn at most times. Did everything with the 9 month old. I have babysat in small increments over the years in Colorado! I do not have my cpr certificate yet but definitely willing to get asap. I have a valid driver’s license and own transportation!

I’ve always loved being around kids — it’s kind of second nature to me. I’m an education major, so working with children is something I do both in and out of the classroom, and I’ve had lots of hands-on experience through school clinicals, mentoring, and helping care for my younger siblings (ages 5 and 13). I really enjoy building trust with kids, keeping them safe, and making sure they’re comfortable and having fun while their parents are away. I’m patient, dependable, and good at staying calm when things don’t go exactly as planned. I’m also a Resident Assistant, which has taught me a lot about responsibility, communication, and looking out for others. I have training through my program, including Kentucky Early Care & Education Orientation and Pediatric Abusive Head Trauma awareness, and I’m comfortable helping with routines, homework, playtime, and bedtime. Hi! I’m a recent graduate from UK and will be starting my masters program at WKU in the fall. I absolutely love kids and cannot wait until I get to have my own! I've been watching children since I turned 15 and have babysat for many coworkers, family friends, and previous teachers. I've been a 4H camp counselor for many years in the past and have had such a blast! As of right now, I only have one class on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday from 2-4:45, so I should have plenty of free time to help out if needed!

Hi my name is Emma, I am a college student and I’ve had my own little business since I was 14 (smallest age I've taken care of is 2 months). I am a certified babysitter and had my first aid and CPR certificate it just needs to be renewed. I am well with kids of all ages I used to teach gymnastics for kids aged 2-18 as well, I am really well with pets and have no issues with them being around. I like getting the kids involved in anything that they want to do. I love singing, or drawing, dancing, going on walks, I enjoy going anywhere.
