I am a retired elementary teacher with 30+ years experience taking care of children. I taught Kindergarten and first grade for 17 years and spent the last 10 years of my teaching career as a Reading Specialist. I worked as a Nanny in Louisville, KY before I became a teacher and have worked as a Nanny since I retired from teaching in Owensboro, KY. I am a mother of 3 adult children and a grandmother of 4 children. I love children and enjoy watching them grow and learn. When my children were growing up the most important thing to me was knowing that they were loved and well cared for while I was at work. At this stage of my life it is time for me to give back to others and provide childcare where parents will know that their children are loved and well cared for while they are at work.

I am a IU student who absolutely loves working with kids! Every job I have had has been around kids and I would not change it for the world. I have worked with babies-12 year olds, as well as special needs kiddos! I am CPR, stop the bleed, and first aid certified. I worked as a lifeguard, cheer coach, special needs camp counselor, and a babysitter. When I am not working I am working towards my BA in social work, with my sorority sisters, or at home with my puppy Reid!
