I am a Mom of 2 beautiful daughter's who are now self sufficient. I am CPR and First Aide certified. As a Mom I understand what it means to want your children loved, cared for, and treated as if they were my own. I remember how important routine is for infants and toddlers. I realize the difficulty in trying to get homework done, get dinner started as well as trying to get everyone to practice on time. I have my own transportation in order to assist with any and all of that. I am looking to either full time or part time work. My schedule is flexible as I do not have a 9-5 job. My experience comes from being a Mom, current experience being a Nanny, to babysitting as a teenager. I have also helped take care of my nephew who has special needs. In addition to child care, I am also a pet lover. I have raised dogs and cats all my life. I currently have 3 dogs, 2 small and 1 large, so I am familiar with pets of all sizes and attitudes. I am a recent college graduate with my bachelors in psychology. While in college I found my love for working with kids. The different settings I have worked/interned/volunteered in are schools, community centers, and clinics for children with autism. I've done supervised counseling, tutoring, aba therapy, and worked with at risk teen girls. I like to think I make a difference and they enjoy me around. I served in the Army National Guard for 5years. I have lots of patience with children because I know they are learning and still developing. I'm very goofy, I always say you can't be too serious with jobs like mine. When a child is around me they are safe as can be. I am horrible at lieing. When I started aba I learned how to break unwanted behaviors and staying calm in hectic situations. I have done potty training with multiple children.
