I am a college student going into my junior year at LSU. I am looking for a part-time babysitting job that can be flexible with my school schedule. I have previously babysat for 3 families. One family has 3 kids ages 3, 5, and 9, and the second family has 1 kid who is currently 3, but I have babysat him for the last two years, and the third family has kids ages 4, 4, and 7. In addition, I have 2 younger siblings with special needs and regularly assist with their care as well. Additionally, I am CPR and First-Aid certified. I am also very familiar with food allergies.

My favorite part of what I get to do is building relationships with the children I care for, and their families. I have 9+ years of childcare experience working with children of all ages in daycare facilities, churches, schools, and VBS programs.

I have worked with children as a babysitter, child care worker, summer camp counselor, and summer camp director. Each of these different positions has taught me how much I love helping kids, seeing them learn new things, and making them smile.

Why do you love being a sitter? I honestly just love spending time with kids! They keep things exciting and fun, and I enjoy being the person who can make them laugh, feel safe, and have a good time while their parents are away. What experience do you have? I’ve worked with kids in different settings—babysitting, afterschool programs, and even helping with homework and activities. I’ve cared for little ones and older kids, so I’m comfortable with different ages and personalities. What skills and training do you have? I’m super patient, creative, and dependable. I’m great at keeping kids entertained with fun activities, staying organized, and making sure everything runs smoothly. I also know how to stay calm and handle things if something unexpected comes up.

I have always loved children and I’ve poured my heart out to work with such little wonders. I have first hand experience with young and older children. I own certifications such as my CPR and First Aid Certificate. Additionally, I hold a National Early Childhood Credential, Child Development Associate and my Early Childhood Professional Certificate. I sincerely loved positively impacting children’s lives and assisting parents with whatever needed :)

I’m 29 years old and just graduated from the University of New Orleans with a BA in Interdisciplinary Studies. I worked as a paraprofessional in a school for special needs for two years and worked in correctional education for two years before that. I am currently working as a high school Algebra teacher at a high school in Baton Rouge.
