Buckle up, I started a babysitters club in high school and never looked back. Being trusted to care for children has been a gift and a job I don't take lightly. I do my best to provide a loving, patient, and playful approach. I practice a mix of positive discipline and the Montessori method. A little about my work experience. I have 6 years of preschool teaching experience and 15 years of professional childcare experience. I have provided before/after school care, overnight care, traveled abroad long term, live in and live out, and most recently ran a nanny share with two toddlers and two babies. I've spent the last 9 summers working at an overnight camp in Vermont with young girls and boys. In my time at camp I've worked in the Wilderness department teaching hard skills, High ropes course, Archery, and led trips in the White Mountains. I have a deep love for nature and enjoy spending time outside. I am currently transitioning out of my nanny job as my kiddos are off to school and daycare. I am pursuing a certification to become a doula and hope to focus on postpartum care/support once completed. In the meantime I am hoping to assist with date nights, interim nanny, travel, overnight, and back up care. In addition, I am able to prepare meals, run errands, care for pets, manage household tasks, house sit, assist in planning educational activities for children, potty train, sleep train, assist with transitions (moving out of crib, becoming an older sibling, etc.) and teach Spanish.
