I have been caring for children for the past ten years. It began with my grandsons and once they started school I ventured out to help other families. I have provided assistance to many families with children of multiple ages. Over the years, positions I have held included taking care of an infant when his Mom returned to work; helping two elementary school girls get ready for school and on to the school bus; providing after school care for a family with two boys, one in elementary school and the other in intermediate school. The after school care included bus stop pickups, helping with snacks and homework, baking activities, playing games, and transporting to and from activities such as school clubs, ice skating lessons, hockey team meetings, drama and art classes, going to the playground and visiting the library. I also took care of the family pets when needed. I enjoy children, animals, the satisfaction that comes from helping others, and look forward to meeting a new family to help.
