I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old, over the years I have created relationships with over a dozen children from many families, almost all of which I keep in touch with to this day. Hi, my name is Willa, I'm 19 years old, and from just outside of Boston. I spend my summers on Martha's Vineyard working as a server at the Homeport in Menemsha. I have experience working with children ranging from ages 3 to 13, including time at the Chilmark Community Center with 6-year-olds, occasional babysitting during the school year, and a 4-week CIT (counselor in training) program at a YMCA camp 2 years ago, where I also trained in lifeguarding and CPR. I have my driver's license and feel confident driving around the island. I'm happy to care for kids of any age--including infants(though I don't have prior infant experience)--and can help with simple meal/snack prep, light cleaning, and keeping things tidy.
