Hello! I am a mom of two wonderful young adults adopted from foster care as toddlers. I was lucky to have provided nanny services for a new mom when I was younger, and did plenty of babysitting. I have been part of the baby cuddler program at Baystate Franklin Medical Center for 10+ years supporting high needs newborns and their moms. It has been an incredibly rich and rewarding experience. I have my own arts business which allows me to have flexibility with my schedule. I’d love to provide ongoing child care for your family that gives you the peace of mind and consistency you need. In my free time I go on walks with my pup Hunny Bunny, play ping pong and spend time with friends. I look forward to supporting you and your family by providing safe, reliable and fun care for your baby or toddler. Take care- Pam

Hi! I'm Lian, a current college student at UMass Amherst, and I'm looking to provide some extra help or care for kid who need it while I'm working on campus over the summer. I don't have any professional experience with traditional child care (yet), but I have a wealth of other experiences that have developed my skills for working with kids and love for helping them out. I've helped to take care of younger cousins and my nephew growing up, providing care ranging from simply spending time with them and making sure they're safe, to homework help, preparing food, and providing strong emotional support when times get rough and they most need it. Through younger family, I have also had first-hand experience caring for kids with ADHD, including helping impulse control, and keeping patience when teaching academic skills like reading or math. I also have 2+ years of experience outside my family. One of these experiences is volunteer tutoring, where I have experience working with kids from upper elementary all the way through high school, teaching subjects such as math, reading comprehension & writing skills, and biology. At the same time, this experience has also helped develop my communication, minor conflict-resolution, and leadership skills. I've also volunteered at a marine life center, where I taught and engaged kids of all ages about our local marine wildlife, while also ensuring safety and rule-following. This included instructing safe and careful play in the touch-tanks (and redirecting kids from playing in the non-touch-tanks), keeping a close eye on or staying near them if parents needed to step out for any reason, and reminding them about respect for the wildlife (and one another) if things started to get a bit too rough. Most importantly though, this also gained me a lot of experience in ensuring the kids also had a fun, educational time. I'd answer all their questions as best as I could (including the ever-repetitive "Why?"), let them talk about their interests, helped them discover all the center had to offer, and most importantly, made sure they had fun while learning. I have training in CPR and extensive first-aid knowledge, as well as experience interacting with a range of special-needs kids (within and outside of family). Ultimately, what'd I love most about being a sitter is just getting to help kids out, teach them some interesting things along the way, and learn about what cool little humans they are.

My name is Nicole (I go by Nicky), I’m 23 years old and currently reside in Western Massachusetts doing what I love! I am a full-time infant teacher at a day centre and love my job as I’ve always known I wanted to work with kids and it stems from when my family first adopted my little brother and we assisted in his orphanage. We helped plate out food, entertained the kids, and ensured they were getting all the tender loving care! I’ve always walked away feeling rewarded when working with kids, whether it be a hard or easy day. I started college at Umass Amherst and am planning to finish up at Greenfield Community College as a part-time student. I am majoring in Psychology (Child behaviour and development) in hopes of one day becoming a Child Therapist! During high school, I was a babysitter for one family and after I graduated (2020) I became a full-time nanny for a little girl and was with that family for 2.5 years and now an infant teacher:) I am a really open-minded, hardworking, and fun person who loves to learn and gain all types of experience! When I'm not around my kiddos, I love to go on walks, hikes, or any type of adventure with food at the end! However, when it is raining I will 100% be inside watching a movie/reading a book or at the gym grinding! I love dogs and cats but am not so great with reptiles or bugs:( A fun fact about myself is that I used to live in Spain not once but twice and loved it both times! I hope that one day I can go back to living next to the ocean:) If you have any questions please feel free to ask, I am an open book!

I'm extremely passionate about childcare and making a positive impact on the wellbeing of everyone involved. I adore being able to be a positive influence on a child's development, and safety is my absolute number one priority at all times. I'm looking for a long term babysitting opportunity, but ANY opportunity to help someone out or lighten their load is a welcome opportunity. Alongside childcare, I can also help out with household tasks such as laundry, cooking, tidying up in general, homework help, entertainment, and anything specific you'd like me to do for your child. CPR certified, extremely open and eager to learn.
