Thank you for letting me introduce myself! First and Foremost... I LOVE kids! Let's play and have fun! I am retired Preschool Director, Teacher, and am currently a Nanny. I am lucky to have, from my previous work, many happy kiddos and parents still in my circle of friends. For me, I find working with children is most rewarding and fulfilling. Children are a delightful gift, they bring so much joy, and make every day one of wonder and curiosity. I enjoy facilitating and being part of the growth of child's mind, healthy body, and spirit; My special interest, in all my work, has always been encouraging a child's social-emotional growth, and helping them develop strong self-esteem. I treat each child as an individual, with respect, with kindness, and with caring. As a trusted caregiver, each child’s personal health and safety is of utmost importance to me. I am a Newborn/Infant/Toddler Specialist, having guided many parents through all aspects of their first years as a family. Over my years as an Education professional, I have worked with children of many different backgrounds, abilities and challenges. I have 40 years worth of teaching, adventures, arts & crafts, singing, dancing, reading, storytelling, and creative imaginings in my toolbox (all of which keeps me young at heart!) Hello! I have spent the last 5 years studying psychology and am currently a full time graduate student studying educational counseling. I have done previous work tutoring as well as working within the public school system with 7th and 8th graders as well as spending some time as a one on one math tutor and assisted in the morning routine and care of two children ages 12 to 15 as needed for around 2 years. I also have 12 months experience working for a local non profit agency supplying in home therapy to children and family's coping with mental illness. I'm CPR certified as well!

Hi, I'm Betsy. I have been working with young children for over 35 years as a teacher and a babysitter. My most recent position was a nanny for a family for 5 years. I started when the 5 year old was 2 months. After about two years, the twins arrived! I was responsible for caring for a three year old and twin infants up until the children were 5 and 3.
